Telecom sector is seeing excessive growth in Pakistan, the sector is said to be growing at a pace of 170 per cent yearly. To extend the range of users and provide flawless communication through out the country Mobile companies are installing their BTS (Base Transceiver System) at different locations. These BTS will initially run on Generators maintaining the noise and vibration standards within the expectable limits. The proponent of this project gets an NOC from Environmental Protection Agency (www.environment.gov.pk) for Generator Sets at different locations.

The major environmental impacts associated with generator sets are:

High level of environmental protection can only be ensured by implementation of a well designed Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan that covers all significant anticipated impacts.

Dynamic Engineering Services has joined hands with Environment Protection Agency to implement these plans in installing BTS generators keeping in mind the impact on environment.

We are investing this expertise into helping create an environmentally friendly telecom web. We are already consulting many telecoms on the noise, vibration, CO2 and microwave radiation aspects to help them comply with present and future emission standards. We are also expanding our capabilities to provide Environmental Impact Surveys and IEE reports on large construction and energy projects such as dams and power generation facilities
